Kimberly Munley, the Texas police officer, has been emerged as a hero after shooting and subduing Major Nidal Hassan, the gunman army ‘psychiatrist’ responsible for killing at Fort Hood. The top commander at the Ford Hood has praised Sergeant Kimberly Munley for her aggressive and amazing performance at the incident. Despite being wounded Kimberly Munley shot Major N. Hassan for four times thus stopping a shooting storm resulting into the death of 13 people and wounding many others at Texas post.

According to a statement by Lieutenant General ‘Bob Cone’, Munley and a partner has responded the incident within first three minutes of the reported shooting fire on 5th October’s afternoon. According to a report by the New York Daily News, Kimberly confronted the shooter while directing the traffic moments. According to a statement by Lieutenant General ‘Bob Cone’, Kimberly had her special training in active response ‘tactics’ and she rushed into building where the incident took place and she confronted gunman while he was turning the corner. to be in a safe and stable health condition at the hospital. According to a report of New York Daily News, she spent her last night while talking to her fellow officers on telephone and enquiring about the causalities happened in the incident.

Major Nidal M. Hassan, a psychiatrist was being posted to Afghanistan and he was due to resume his responsibilities in Afghanistan after some days. It has been reported that he found arguing with his comrades that he was against wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and is he is planning for resignation from the army very soon.
